Ace Recycled Polar Fleece Overalls - Mountain Geo Tidal Blue

First impression - they're well made. They have pockets in the normal place. They have a sort of ripstop reinforcement (the blue in the images) which gives structure. They are notably warm and quite comfy.

Shape wise for male - I tried large. I'm between 30 and 32 in men's clothing depending on brand. (My Passenger men's swim shorts from this summer are 30 and fit well). This is probably the right size, though wider hips and stretch material give perhaps an unusual shape lower down for men. Visually there's nothing to break up the front (no waistband or fly).

This is an item of clothing that can be warm and comfortable on camp - the reason I wanted to try them. They'll keep draft out of the middle and lower back. The waist comes quite high at the sides so there's plenty of cover for warmth. The top of the bib on these is also a good height (I prefer overalls that actually go over all, so armpit level) and a good width. Similarly the braces at the back are high and should stay in place well.

I've not kept these, but I could imagine picking up a patterned pair in the sales as a comfortable item if I'm brave enough to take them on winter camp. They'd also work well as loungewear around the house on colder days. I expect the pattern would break up the large solid block of material presented by the green ones. I could also consider Medium for a more fitted look as even the non-stretch top lining has plenty of space for me in Large.
