How to measure
Bust
Place tape measure under your arms around your back and across the centre of your chest.
Waist
Measure around the narrowest point basically just above your naval keeping the tape slightly loose.
Hips
Measure the widest part of your hip. Make sure you keep your feet together when measuring.

This coat keeps you warm in the cold and is not tight fitting. I wear a size 12-14 usually and medium is perfect for me. It is loose around my hips and waist, and a little tighter at the bust (I wear a size DD) but there is still space and it is not difficult to zip up or too tight. The dual zip is perfect for unzipping the bottom half if I'm sitting down in the coat or walking up steep slopes or stairs. It is still not too tight to walk in but it just gives you more range of movement.
I have been out in the rain, wind and cold in it and it has kept me warm and dry. The hood is particularly good as it can be zipped up over your chin and you can tighten it around your head so you're kept very warm and protected from any weather.
I recommend it.
