These looked great, but the M (supposedly equivalent to a size 12) wouldn't even come up over my hips, and although the waist is elasticated it has very little stretch in it. (I have seen other reviewers note this). I am definitely no more than a UK size 12 at the moment, so would have expected an elasticated-waist M size to fit me like a dream. I needed to return these, which is a real shame, and it has put me off buying more trousers from Passenger as it seems I cannot trust the sizing.

They're lovely looking pants. However there is no "opening" or stretch to the band. There's a drawstring but the waist is tiny. I am an absolutely standard M in Australia and I can't get these in. Meant to be M/L? Possibly wrong tag? Dunno but it's pretty annoying as have never had this issue. I'll get around to sending them back but it's a hassle. Everything else I got is awesome

These are great but slightly too big/long in the rise. I am only 5'3" so perhaps the shorter length ones would be better when available. Really well made and lovely shape.
