I bought this blanket because of its versatility as a camping blanket and sleeping bag as I wanted something that was multi-functional. It kept me warm enough at night in a tent in late September, but I think colder nights would require an additional liner. Also not sure it’s that good for wild camping, I used it round a camp fire and the lining got covered lots of leaves and twigs off the ground, which is now proving a nightmare to clean off. Luckily I had a spare sleeping bag with me and was able to use it instead.

Thanks for your feedback. This blanket is a multipurpose blanket and not rated in any way. So if you're out in the changeable elements camping a technical and rated sleeping bag would definitely be the best and safest option.

I bought two of these beautiful Sherpa blankets for our new adventures alone the west coast of Ireland. They are really great quality- light but warm and pack down really quite small. Packing them down is a bit tricky but there is a great little video on the website to help you with this.
