These are vegan friendly, so they do use synthetic materials to achieve this, but I'm really sorry to hear about the sores that have developed on you. It could be down to sizing, as we advise that if you are in-between sizing to go for a larger size.

Loving the new flip-flops. Really comfortable on the soles and the fabric between the toes is more pleasing than many other flip-flops I’ve had to wear in.
